Security Compliance Programs
Several security compliance programs have
emerged in recent years. Programs which address
trade and transportation include the US Customs-Trade
Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Canada's
Partners in Protection (PIP) as well as the
International Maritime Organization's International Ship
and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code. Security
compliance programs in the public utility area (RAM-W,
RAM-T and RAM-D) have also been launched which require
utilities to identify those security protections and
safeguards are in place. The Banks Group's
qualifications and experience in the public utilities
area are proven through the completion of several large
utility projects.
These programs have added important
security responsibilities for companies to implement.
The Banks Group is experienced in the evaluation of a
company's performance with respect to regulatory
security compliance and can complete formalized
assessments and inspections and identify where a company
meets and may fall short of the necessary standard.
